The garden design for a large Victorian House in Berkhamsted involved the planning and building of a new drive, oak framed garage structure and side garden to the house to provide a low maintenance garden with visual appeal.
The design work drew inspiration from the new oak framed garage and the detailing on the chimney breast of the house. Needing a low maintenance garden, and more driveway, red brick pavers were chosen with estate railings to echo the existing gate. The finished garden and driveway are classic and timeless to match the house, with shrub planting to provide year round interest and laurel trees to provide a formal vertical element to the scheme.
